The new Skoda Fabia Supermini goes on sale on the 17th May and Skoda have just revealed the cost of the new car - £7990.

The bottom of the range Fabia Supermini is a 1.2 litre 6v car and costs only £400 more than the old version of the car despite having new and improved technologies installed.

The new models are named 1, 2 and 3 according to the level and optional extras that you are looking for. All the new models come with front and side airbags, a height adjustable steering wheel, central locking, electric front windows, CD player and MP3 socket as standard.

The Fabia 2 comes with 15 inch alloy wheels, remote central locking, halogen lights, extra speakers and electric door mirrors as standard. The Fabia 3 (top of the new range) comes with 16 inch alloy wheels, climate control, cruise control, front fog lights and rear parking sensors.

Prices for the new Fabia range from £7990-£13,015 and it will be available from May.
