I have had a March 2008 Diesel CC-3. In the first few months of ownership the car leaked from the N/s roof seal ajoining to the pax. window. The car was returned to the dealer. 5 x days later the car was returned (courtesy car provided)Now over a year on, no leaks, nothing else failed. In my experience Ford took this car back and fixed it within a reasonable time. Oh by the way I bought this car pre-registered with just 35 miles on the clock for £14500 (loaded with additional extras) so Ive no complaints. I feel for the early "guiney pigs", but I cant complain at the deal I was able to secure!

I have a Jan 08 Reg Diesel CC-3 MK2 I have not had any problems with leaks however I can hear a bang (seems to be rear left) whenever I am driving on a moderately uneven road, had it in to be fixed, they didnt know how to fix it then finally said they lubricated the mechanism (latches) in the boot and this should fix it, bang not as bad but it is still there and a concern, did anyone else have this problem and a possible solution so I can actually tell the mechanic what is wrong with it as they do not have a clue. Thanks

The day i was due to trade in my focus cc a taxie driver ran into the back of us.
Ford do not have any bumbers so they are on back order and have to make them, we are looking about another month or more now. This has been since 9th jan.

You can still configure the Focus on the Ford website, not sure if this means it is still in production or whether they will just find one that's already been produced to match your specification though.

Hi Sandon, I was told this by 2 different members of management at my local Ford Dealers. I can't see even them making that up. Good luck and I hope you get it sorted out soon as I know it's a constant stress you could do without.

Well done Cath. We are in the final stages of discussing settlements with the dealer before the court hearing. I didn't know Ford had stopped making the CC3. Is this a rumour or a fact?

So glad I have finally got rid of my CC3 and to hear that Ford have seen sense and stopped making these monstrous cars which should never have got off the drawing board. They will be worth nothing on the re-sale market soon. My local ford dealers were not prepared to underwrite my 10mth old CC3 from another non ford car dealership when I enquired about part-exing it, that tells you everything you need to know.

Having now finally got rid of a car that leaked since the day it was delivered I too would never buy another Ford because of the way their customer service department behaved.
According to the dealer I dealt with, Ford have quietly withdrawn warranty cover for roof leaks for second owners even if bought within the original 3 year warranty period. If you are a second owner and the roof leaks you are on your own.

i have had 2 cc's now, the mark 1 leaked and had new seals fitted and the mark 2 also leaked a little but left well alone as i didn't want to poss disrupt something else whilst they was messing with it.
I have since bought a new Volvo C70 which has been totaly leak free. sloppy gear box apart the Volvo is light years ahead of the Ford ( and i AM a Ford man )and just wish Ford would take a good look at the Volvo mechanism before building another hard top convertable, and before anyone says it with the discounts being offerted by Volvo at the time it was cheaper than the equivelant Ford CC !
Please get your act together Ford so i can come backl to you !
