F1 Race tyres

Bridgestone have announced which tyres will be used during the first five races of the Grand Prix season.

Bridgestone had a choice of super soft, soft, medium and hard of which they had to choose two tyres for each race. All 11 teams will be using the tyres that Bridgestone have chosen.

The first race in Australia this weekend will be on soft and medium tyres. The races in Malaysia, Bahrain and Spain with be on medium and hard tyres. The Monaco race will be on super-soft and soft tyres. Bridgestone are yet to release details for the remaining races.

There are still rumors flying around as to how the Bridgestone tyres will be marked but it is thought that the softer tyre will be the one that is marked.
