Posted on March 6, 2007 @ 10:46 am

The 77th Geneva Motor show starts on Thursday 8th March and continues until the 18th March. There will be over 250 exhibitors and more than 700,000 visitors are expected from across the world. The show will be held in the Geneva Palexpo which has a net surface area of more than 77,000 square meters.

The show as normal will be a showcase of new cars soon to be released, first car models, new car manufacturers, dream cars, and new technologies. The main focus will be on the development of eco-friendly technologies and how these can be applied to new cars. Hybrid cars are also expected to make a big appearance at this year’s show with various large manufacturers in the process of designing their own versions.

The arrangement of the venue has been redesigned to allow the public ease of access wherever they go, with newly positioned ticket barriers, restaurant and entrance hall.
