New Honda F1 car

Posted on March 1, 2007 @ 11:21 am

Honda have revealed their new F1 car, but it is fair to say that it is different from the other F1 cars this year. Honda’s new F1 car has no sponsorship logos and the car is decorated like a photo of the world.

Honda have taken the new move to raise awareness of ongoing environmental issues and have called their new F1 car the ‘Earth Car’. In Honda’s press release they talked about how if all F1 viewers turned their computer off at the plug over-night, this can save 45,000 tonnes of CO2 pollution every year. There is only one piece of advertising on the car in the form of a website address which is displayed on the car’s rear wing. Having looked at the website, it simply advertises the car and allows you to have a 360 degree view of the car, not forgetting the chance to make a pledge to relevant charities.

There have been mixed reactions to Honda’s new car with some people asking why they have made this move. Only time will see!
