Modern Tyres for Classic Cars
Most average motorists are happy with any tyre that isn’t visibly failing or bald. But those into modifying their cars, and those with a little pride in the appearance of their vehicle will be more aware of how tyres and alloys can vastly improve their appearance. Along with recent tyre-related car accidents in the news, owners of vintage cars are becoming more aware that new tyres can not only add safety and practicality to their classic car, but often add to their style.

Renault’s Fernando Alonso provided Renault with their second win of the 2005 Grand Prix season this weekend. Leading most of the race he never really looked threatened by Toyota’s Jarno Trulli who ended up finishing 24 seconds behind. Third was BMW Williams Nick Heidfeld who drove a storming race from 10th on the grid, showing that the Williams seem to be getting on top of the problems that they had in Australia.
A notable absence to the front runners were the Ferraris with Michael Schumacher finishing in 7th position and Rubens Barichello dropping out due to a piece of rubber in his rear wing making his car virtually undrivable.

The Malaysian Grand Prix weekend is here and British GP star Jenson Button has returned to form in his BAR Honda. Posting times inside the top 10 in both Friday practice sessions, Button said that he thought it was a good start to the weekend.
Williams driver Mark Webber started the weekend in a less satisfactory way loosing the whole day to a gear shift problem and had to sit out the whole day in air conditioned comfort while the rest of the drivers pounded roudn the track in the blistering heat.

Topgear are very sorry to hear that Emap have announced the imminent closure of Revs magazine. This is a great shame as we currently have a 10 page advert in this magazine which took a considerable amount of time and effort to get looking right.
We will of course look at other publications to put our message in and keep you informed.
