WhatCar? have announced the winner of their ‘Performance Car Of The Year’ award.
Here is what they had to say:
Winner
BMW M3 Coupe
?39,735

Blistering performance and handling aside, one of the great things about the BMW M3 is its stealth appeal.
Whereas many steroid-fed rivals scream their intentions with lurid colour schemes and bulging wheelarches, the M3 is far more measured in its approach.
Apart from some tasty alloys and a quartet of tail pipes, there?s little to imply the M3 is anything other than a discreet and distinguished sports coupe. Make no mistake, though; the M3 is the consummate performance car, in every sense of the word.

Did you know that Topgear now offer Flush Fit Valves with all Alloy Wheel and tyre Packages? These valves, as the name suggests, sit flush with the rim of your alloy wheel and look much nicer than a standard black rubber valve. Because there is nothing sticking out of the rim, it also eliminates the worry of people being able to let your tyres down.
These valves are only ?30 for the set so add them to your wheel and tyre package to look extra special.

OZ have always produced top quality alloy wheels in stunning designs and these latest arrivals look set to carry on the tradition. The Crono Evo is a street version of the magnesium Crono rim as designed for the McLaren F1. Apart from its high-grade aluminium construction it is identical to the original ? the five slender spokes offering maximum strength, light weight and excellent brake cooling.
The Antares, on the other hand, move away from the traditional motorsport look. This is one for the street tuner ? its aggressive curves and chunky spokes offer maximum visual impact. They also benefit from a new crystal-silver paint finish so they out-spangle all others.
