How do I know which wheels fit my car?

If you need help or are not sure, drop us an email or ring us on 01308 427588 and we will be happy to tell you.

The picture shows 4 stud but my car has 5 stud - does this mean they won't fit?

No it doesn't mean they won't fit. We use whatever picture the manufacturer give us. Wheels will often come in both 4 and 5 stud fitments. You can ring us on 01308 427588 to check or email us at enquiries@topgear.co.uk and we will call or mail you back to let you know.

Do I really need locking wheel nuts?

We would always advise you to purchase locking wheel nuts. It's sad that you may need them but it's better to be safe than sorry. Locking wheel nuts will stop someone removing your lovely new wheels and running away with them

I already have lockers so I don't need to buy them again, right?

Not all lockers fit all wheels so you are better off buying them knowing they will fit.

Do I get everything I need when I buy a wheel and tyre package from Topgear?

In short, yes. We send out our packages with a complete set of nuts / bolts and the correct sized spiggot rings if required. All you will need to do is unpack them and fit them to your car.

Will I be able to fit them myself?

You can fit your wheels yourself with nothing more than a car jack and a wheel brace. You should be sure to torque the wheels to the correct setting. Again we will be happy to help so give us a call.

Can you fit the wheels for me?

Yes, most of our depots have a fitting service

The size of the tyres advertised is not the size I need for my car, what do I need to do?

We will always call you to confirm the tyre size if we see that your car needs a different sized tyre. You can order online with the advertised size and we'll sort the rest - there may be a slight increase in cost if the tyre size needed is more expensive.

Can I order wheels on their own without tyres?

Yes that's fine. You'll need to call us on 01308 427588 and speak to the sales team.

Are you opening new depots?

Yes, we are opening depots all the time. New depots are likely to be franchises.

Can I buy a franchise?

Yes. Please contact us on franchising@topgear.co.uk or write to the marketing director at Topgear, Unit 1, Gore Cross Business Park, Corbin Way, Bridport, Dorset, DT6 3UX..

Can I have 0% finance on my alloys?

Yes, Topgear can offer many finance alternatives. You pay a 25% deposit and then 6 equal monthly payments by direct debit. There is also an interest bearing scheme we can provide as well which is over a longer period and lower monthly payments.

My car has 4 studs but the picture on the web site shows 5 holes. Is the wheel available for my car?

Most wheels come in both 4 and 5 stud patterns. If you are unsure, email us at enquiries@topgear.co.uk and we will email you back to let you know.

Will these wheels fit my car?

While we are happy to check if certain wheels will fit your car, please bear in mind that we receive a huge number of emails each day. Please try to keep your list to 5 different wheels and under as it takes us a fair amount of time to check long lists.

What is included in the free fitting kit supplied with my alloy wheel package?

All alloy wheel packages are designed to include whatever is needed for you to simply bolt on the wheels to your vehicle. Some wheels need a special plastic ring called a spiggot ring that must be placed into the back of the wheel so it fits snugly on the hub of the car. We will also supply the correct number of Nuts or Bolts that your vehicle requires. We also balance you wheels ready to fit and include high quality top gear valves.

Can you send Internationally?

The carriage prices online are for Mainland UK only (excluding Highlands and Islands) so you'll need to call us for a quote on 0044 1308 427588. Please note that some things cannot be exported due to the delicate nature of some of the products.

If I pay by card over the Internet, can I come an pick up my goods?

If you wish to collect your products from any of our depots nationwide, this is fine. You will need to pay when you get to the depot (this is to help avoid card fraud). A deposit will be required before we can order goods in.

Can you fit my wheels for me?

Yes. You can go into many of our depots and we will fit the wheels for you. Some of the franchise depots may make a charge for this service.

Can you get me tickets to see the Top Gear program being filmed?

Sorry - we're nothing to do with the BBC so no we can't..

Will these wheels look good on my car?

Well from a sales point of view we're always going to say yes. However, being realistic, what we like might not be to your taste. It's a personal thing.

My car needs a different size tyre to the one advertised, what shall I do?

Our wheel and tyre search facility for packages should add the correct size tyre for your vehicle. However if you wish to have a different size tyre fitted we would be happy to do that for you if you call us on (01308) 427588.

What are your opening hours?

We here at Bridport Head Office are open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm and Saturday morning until 1.00pm. Some depots are also open on Saturday afternoon.

Can you make a Longlife exhaust for my car?

Invariably the answer is yes. We can make Longlife exhausts for more or less anything. 

Are you part of the BBC?

No, we're nothing to do with them at all.

Can I buy just wheels without tyres?

Yes. We currently don't have wheels on their own available to buy on the web site but we can sell them to you. Call us on 01308 427588 and speak to one of the sales team who will be happy to help

Can I buy just one wheel?

Provided that we aren't splitting our last set then we will be happy to sell just one wheel. Call us on 01308 427588 and speak to one of the sales team who will be happy to help.

Can we make manifolds?

Yes we can make manifolds for you. We also supply lots of ready made manifolds. We are also prepared to fit a manifold sourced by yourself as part of a full exhaust system.

Can I have chrome / flush fit valves with my alloys?

Yes at extra cost

What if I am declined finance?

We aim to give high levels of acceptance. If you are declined call us and discuss some further options.

Do you take Amex?

Yes, we take most major credit cards.

Can I mail order an exhaust?

Yes we can mail order certain makes of exhaust although most of what we sell is custom built on the car.

Do your wheel & tyre package prices include fitting?

If you wish to come to one of our depots and have your wheels fitted, we will do this for you. Some franchise depots may make a charge for this.

CANCELLATION AND RETURN OF GOODS

Top Gear (Bridport) Ltd will only accept returned goods within 7 days of receipt of purchase. The buyer assumes responsibility for return of goods. Any Goods returned must be in original packaging or equivalent, undamaged and of merchantable quality Any goods specially ordered will not be accepted for return.
