The Focus ST maybe a little tamer than the RS version, but it has still had the same dedicated Scorpion development, to produce this superb free flowing 3" diameter exhaust system. Available from the cat back, the 3" system has been designed to improve on the restrictive standard exhaust by giving the spent gases a much smoother exit. Allowing the exhaust gases to exit smoother and quicker has enabled a few more horses to be released from under the bonnet as well an improved throttle response. In addition to the improvements in power, through careful acoustic development of the silencer we have created a sound that is much more in keeping with the STs pedigree without an intrusive drone on long distance drives. Not content with the improvements we have seen with the cat back system, the R&D team felt that much more could be achieved from the blue ovals 2.5 litre turbo engine. So they went on to develop a turbo down pipe and a cat replacement pipe!! & The turbo pipe and cat replacement both help the gases even further and give even better performance improvements over the standard items. Both are available separately and are fully interchangeable with the standard exhaust parts. Also available is a sports cat, this is a 200 cell unit. Which again is designed to integrate with the Scorpion system and the OE exhaust.
